Arrest for Harassment in San Pedro

A man identified for allegedly having harassed two women on Calzada del Valle was arrested by the San Pedro Police. The alleged harassment, reported through social media, took place while the supposed victims were walking on the walkway last Tuesday, and the man began to perform inappropriate acts in front of them. When caught and filmed by the victims, the man fled.

Thanks to the efforts of the intelligence and monitoring group of C4, the man identified as Juan 'N', 43 years old, was located and arrested on Avenida Real San Agustín, at its intersection with Batallón de San Patricio, in the Residential San Agustín neighborhood.

Juan 'N' was made available to the Public Prosecutor's Office to continue with the corresponding process. Authorities urge anyone who has been a victim of such behavior to file a formal complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office to strengthen investigations and ensure access to justice.

In one of the posts on Instagram made by Sampetrinos, one of the victims recounted what happened: 'We were here, on Calzada del Valle, walking our dogs. We were coming normally, chatting, gossiping, talking about life…'. The woman added that she did not notice the man's act, but her friend did. Another person also noticed the situation, which led the complainant to reflect on what could happen if similar incidents occurred with younger women.

The initial report was made on social media through the Instagram account Sampetrinos, where two women shared their experience while walking their pets and Juan 'N' exposed himself. One of the women captured video of the man running down the avenue while shouting 'Pig!'. The case has been handed over to the appropriate authorities for due process.
